Lice can cause a lot of discomfort since it often feels as though there are small bugs moving throughout your scalp. This can lead to intense itching and inflammation. Lice are common in children because they are often in close quarters. However, if you are a teenager, then you may also contract lice and this can be difficult to shake. Going through a number of remedies can easily become frustrating to deal with. Fortunately, there are a few natural sprays that you can use to help alleviate head lice as a teenager.

Tea Tree and Lemon Oil Spray

Tea tree and lemon oil are both considered to be antibacterial oils. They are used in oral and dental care products in order to help get rid of any bacterial development and potential infection. They can also be used to help kill off your lice infection and prevent lice in the future. In order to create your tea tree and lemon oil spray, boil two cups of distilled water on the stove. Once it is cool, transfer it into a spray bottle, then add several drops of both tea tree and lemon to the mix. Allow the oil to sit for a few minutes, then shake it vigorously. Spray the oil on your scalp and hair in the morning and before going to bed. On the weekends, use the spray throughout the day.

Orange and Cinnamon Oil Spray

Orange and cinnamon oil are great for getting rid of tackling the toughest bacterial. When mixed together, the oils create a powerful lice spray that can be used on a daily basis. You can make your own spray by placing cinnamon sticks in a pot of water. Boil the water, then strain the cinnamon sticks. Wait a few minutes until the cinnamon mix cools, then add a few drops of orange oil. Shake the spray bottle for a few minutes before using. Spray the mix throughout your entire scalp and the length of your hair. Use the spray bottle after you have washed your hair. If you are using between washes, then make sure to spray until your hair is damp.

Dealing with a lice infection as a teenager can be extremely frustrating. Lice can be difficult to get rid of and all of your attempts may not work. Therefore, use these easy and natural hair sprays to get your head lice under control.
